The greens are covered in snow right now but it's never too early to mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a fun time! Zintel Creek Golf Club will be the location of a Vegas “Roll for it” Scramble Golf tournament, benefiting the Kennewick High School Athletics Department.

Last year, five girls tried out for the KHS golf team but unfortunately the team only had two sets of clubs. So Josh Atwood, from the Zintel Creek Golf Club donated three more sets of clubs and the Edge Steakhouse & Sports Lounge donated all the proceeds from their Golden Tee Video Game to benefit the team.

They soon discovered it wasn’t just the golf team that was struggling financially, it was every sport in the athletics department! They discovered they don't have money for even the basic needs, such as safety equipment, uniforms, tournament entries, etc... So they decided they needed to do more for our local students!

Kennewick High School Booster Club will be hosting a golf tournament at the Zintel Creek Golf Club, June 15th. Registration will begin March 1st and go until the day of the event. The day of the tournament registration will begin at noon. They will have four person teams and the cost is $600 per team. The entry fee will include dinner, a silent auction and a party with live music. Not a golfer? That's ok! You can still take part in this amazing event! Additional dinner /event tickets can be purchased for just $30!
