‘Luck’ Runs Out for Pasco Attempted Murder Suspect
Pasco Police didn't specify how he was located or apprehended, but a man wanted for attempted murder over two years ago is now behind bars.
Jaime Balderas, 28, was arrested Wednesday, and is now facing 2nd Degree Attempted murder charges.
Here's What Led to Charges, and His Arrest.
Back in January 2019, a 9-1-1 call brought Police to the 1500 block of West Yakima in Pasco. The caller said they heard a lot of yelling, and some gunfire.
Upon arrival, Officers located a 27-year-old man (whose name was not given) who had been shot twice, including at least once in the torso. Fortunately, after being rushed to an area hospital, he survived and has since recovered.
Balderas was identified as the shooter by both the victim, and Baldera's ex-girlfriend. The shooting was believed to be over a domestic-relationship dispute.
Police said a few months after the shooting, Balderas was able to flee from Police who were attempting to apprehend him, he's now also facing those charges as well.
The investigation continues.
