Major Drug Bust Nets 2 Arrests in Hermiston

Two women are in the Umatilla County Jail after a major drug raid Tuesday.

Hermiston police say 31-year-old Ernesta Zumay Rodriguez and 27-year-old Mariah Ann Withers were arrested after the Blue Mountain Enforcement Narcotics Team raided the Foxwood Apartments on West Orchard Ave. Tuesday afternoon.

While searching the apartment police and agents found the following:

• 50 grams of meth
• 20 grams of heroin
• 18 grams of cocaine
• 100-plus imitation prescription pills, believed to contain Fentanyl. These are often referred to as "fake oxy's" on the street.

The woman are facing a wide variety of charges,  authorities didn't say what led up to the raid, or if anyone else is believed involved. More details expected soon.
