Kennewick and Pasco police were kept hopping Friday, chasing a 20-year-old man who's now accused of stealing two vehicles, while leading authorities on a wild chase that started in Pasco, and finally ended in Kennewick.

20-year-old Geovanny Blanco allegedly stole a van in Pasco this morning, and was pursued by Pasco officers before abandoning the vehicle near 26th. and Underwood. He left behind a passenger, 19-year-old Josie Bear, who was arrested. She was found in the van as Blanco fled on foot.

After efforts to track Blanco down with a police dog didn't turn up any results, several 911 calls came in shortly after 11am about man hiding in a house not far from where the abandoned van was found.

Then, a call came in from a man in the same neighborhood who reported his truck was stolen. He had left it running when he went back inside his home to get something. The truck was later found abandoned in Kennewick near 19th and Ranier Place.

Blanco was then seen on the corner of 16th Ave. and Olympia where he was taken into custody without any resistance.

He's facing auto theft and criminal trespassing charges in Kennewick, and additional charges are expected to be filed for the Pasco crimes as well.
