Man Driving With Suspended License Takes Out Cow, Totals Car
The wreck occurred about 4 miles from Toppenish early Monday morning, when a 21-year-old driver apparently plowed a cow on the Yakima Valley Highway.
Javier Diaz was driving his 2002 Honda Civic east away from the city when the collision occurred. His passenger, 18-year-old Destiny Cannon, sustained injuries and was taken to Astria Hospital in Toppenish.
Diaz was cited for driving with a suspended license, and to add insult to injury, his car was totaled. No word on the condition of the cow.
