Man Killed by Semi On Highway 395 Identified
Kennewick Police and Washington State Patrol Troopers say the 48-year-old man who died Sunday morning after being hit by a semi-truck apparently walked into the road into the path of the oncoming truck.
Around 11:30 AM near the intersection of Highway 395 and Hildebrand Blvd. Jeremie J. Mills walked out onto the road in front of the oncoming southbound semi. He was most likely killed instantly by the impact.
Officials have not said why Mills walked out into the road, the incident remains under investigation. The semi driver, a man from Kennewick whose name was not released, will not face charges, say officials. The road was closed for sometime after the incident.
