Adams County Sheriff's Deputies were kept busy Wednesday night after responding to a report of a fight between two men.

Deputies were called to Hatton, a little hamlet of about 100 people ten miles east of Othello. There they found James Winebarger arguing with another town resident. Winebarger reportedly said "let's settle this right now" and went inside and came out with a handgun.

He then went back inside, defying commands from Deputies. He barricaded himself inside the home before finally giving up and being arrested. He's facing a variety of charges, no one was injured. No word on what led to the initial argument.
