‘Marlboro’Bandits Strike Pasco Convenience Store–See Pics
Pasco Police are searching for two suspects, described as the Marlboro Red robbers.
WHY ARE THEY CALLED MARLBORO BANDITS?
The name has stuck from the Monday night robbery because the two made off with a significant number of Marlboro Red cigs. Apparently, they have a serious nicotine habit.
What was more alarming was that one of them was armed with appeared to be a folding stock AR-style semi-automatic rifle. This refers to a similarity to an AR-15. No shots were fired.
WHAT DID THE SUSPECTS LOOK LIKE?
The armed suspect was a skinny white male while the second (who took the money) was a "chubby" Hispanic male with what appears to be a spiderweb mask.
The crime occurred around 8:20 PM at the Conoco Convenience store at the corner of Lewis and Elm Streets. No suspect vehicle was noted or described by the clerk or witnesses, apparently, no one saw them after they fled out the door.
