Medical Issue Behind Wheel Sends Car Plowing Into Light Pole

Thursday night Kennewick police and fire responded to a crash at Kennewick Ave and Vancouver, after the driver experienced a medical issue behind the wheel.

Authorities didn't say exact what it was, but it caused the driver's car to plow into the traffic light and street sign pole in the intersection.

Police updated saying after being taken to Trios Southridge ER, the driver is OK from both the medical issue and the crash. Traffic was snarled for some time during cleanup.
