Miami Heat Mock Mavericks Nowitzski’s Illness Before Game 5 Loss

Maybe think about giving ammunition to your opponent.  Hours before losing to Dallas 112-103 in Game 5 of the NBA finals, Miami Heat players LaBron James and Dwayne Wade appeared to mock the illness of Dallas Star Dirk Nowitzski.

Nowitzski gutted out Game 4 earlier this week despite the flu and a 102 degree temperature, dropping in 21 points and ten rebounds, and again coming up big in the fourth quarter as Dallas evened the best of seven series at two apiece.  Then Thursday, prior to the Heat's pregame shootaround at the American Airlines Arena,  Wade and James were captured on video coughing, laughing and pulling their jerseys over their noses.  A Dallas TV station got them on video coming down the hallway, and their comments picked up by the camera seem to support their mocking.  See more on this story and check out the video for yourself.
