Kennewick police are still seeking the male suspect who's accused of holding a gun to the head of, and possibly assaulting, a female over the weekend.

Early Sunday morning, just after 2am, police were called to the Heatherstone Apartments on 10th Ave. about a disturbance. From witness reports, police say 26-year-old Saul Castaneda was holding a gun to the head of 29-year-old Christina Rodriguez.

The two were arguing. When witnesses tired to intervene, Castaneda reportedly exited the vehicle they were sitting in, and fired a handgun into the pavement of the parking lot. They then fled, both parties, on foot through the apartment complex.

Police now say Rodriguez was found safely, but are still seeking Castaneda. He's listed as about 5' 10" 230 lbs. Anyone with any information is urged to call (509)-628-0333.  Two vehicles reportedly being also sought in connection with him include a Gray 2011 BMW 528 and a 2008 gray BMW 328.
