MLPD Cop Uses 'Car' To Catch DUI Runner

The Moses Lake PD released a funny video of the apprehension of a recent DUI Driver who fled on foot.

While 2 Officers pursued, running 3 blocks after the suspect, after they'd dumped their vehicle, a 3rd Officer who was calmly filling out reports in his cruiser simply took off, sped past them, located the suspect.

Then he jumped out, after a short chase, executed a perfect "tackle" according to MLPD. They made some jokes online (Facebook) about the huffing and puffing younger Officers, who did make excellent time, and arrived to help the 3rd one cuff the driver.

The tint in the video, said the MLPD, was likely due to the 'younger' Officers who tried their hand foro the first time editing down the footage for the public video, and were probably influenced by Tik Tok and other Social Media.

Either way, they got the driver.
