Kennewick Police are searching for suspects related to a pair of shootings the last 24 hours or so.

 WHAT LED TO FIRST SHOOTING?

Thursday, Oct. 28th, around 8:45PM Officers arrived at a place well-known already to law enforcement, the 600 block of North Tweedt. This area has seen several shootings, including a fatal incident involving a woman less than two years ago. In that case, from 2019, a man fatally shot his girlfriend before dumping her body in the street.

They found a 27-year-old woman who had been shot at least once, and Officers say it was not a random incident. They believe it stemmed from a domestic violence situation.

This area has seen several shootings, including a fatal incident involving a woman less than two years ago.

Then later that evening, less than 3 hours later, shots were reportedly fired in the 100 block of South Morain St.  A 29-year-old male whose name was not released was suffering from at least one gunshot wound, and a short time later Police learned a second man, 26-years of age, had checked himself into an area hospital after also having been shot.

It's presumed those two injuries are related.  Anyone who may have an information about these incidents is urged to call (509)-628-0333. All leads can be confidential.

A look back at 2020, hoping 2021 settles down.
