A newly-signed 8-year agreement will change the name of the Southridge Sports & Events Complex to The Numerica Pavilion.

Numerica Credit Union and the City of Kennewick announced the agreement Wednesday; signage will now begin to appear around the widely-used complex.

The deal is worth $680,000 and will last until 2027. City officials say the logistical and financial support from the deal will help the city enhance the programs and other events offered at the facility. In addition, Numerica will be able to offer engagement opportunities at the facility for local non-profit groups and members.

New signage provided by Numerica through the agreement will help the city advertise and attract people to events at the Pavilion and surrounding fields. No official word on when signage will begin to appear, but it's expected soon.

The naming rights will cover the entire complex, including the baseball/softball fields, soccer areas and the main buildings.
