National Adoption Day Event Coming To Mid Columbia Nov. 18th (story with audio)

Newstalk and Townsquare Media invite you to attend the Mid Columbia Celebration of National Adoption Day, Friday Nov. 18th at the Benton County Justice Center at 3pm.

This special event was started nationally years ago by Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's Restaurants, and others who wanted to call attention to the need for adoptions, and for children to have a stable, healthy home for growing up.  This year, The Mid Columbia Celebration, open to the public, will be November 18th at the Benton County Justice Center next to the Toyota Center in Kennewick.  In addition to several adoptions being finalized on that day, there will be information for those who want to learn more about adopting a child, guest speakers and more.   We talked with Superior Court Commissioner Joseph r.
