Net a Team Now for a ‘High Seas’ Adventure at Junior Achievement’s Karaoke & Bowling Classic Feb. 25
Junior Achievement sets up community volunteers with local schools to help students prepare for the job market. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Junior Achievement has helped more than 120,000 with skills they need for economic success. It takes money to make a difference, so the group holds an annual bowling classic and karaoke tournament. Now in its 17th year, the event’s theme in 2013 is “High Seas” so your team should come dressed as pirates, mermaids, the crew of the HMS Pinafore – whatever!
Bring your team to sing karaoke at either 5:30 or 8 p.m. on Feb. 25 and be ready for $50,000 in prizes given away during the 6-day tournament starting the 25th and wrapping up March. 2. Bowling teams consist of five people.
This is an adult-only event at Spare Time Lanes and Arcade, 711 Vineyard Drive in Kennewick. The slots fill up every year, so hop on this opportunity quick!
