New Federal Budget Proposes $120Million Cut for Hanford
Details still coming out, but according to reports, the latest Federal Government Budget contains what would be $120 million dollars in cuts for Hanford.
Multiple sources including the Seattle Times, say Washington state's Congressional Delegation is concerned, especially after the recent PUREX Plant tunnel collapse.
The budget proposal still has to clear Congress. WA officials in both parties are disappointed, they plan to address the issue with the Trump Administration soon. More details coming soon.
