NO License? Uh-Oh–Driver Piles Up Car in Front of Deputy
Benton County Sheriff's and police are looking for a young man who decided it was better to evade the officer than pull over. He crashed his car in the process, then fled.
Late Wednesday evening, A Deputy was executing a traffic stop on the white car pictured, when the driver, identified as Jose Monzon, sped away. He tried a series of maneuvers as the chase approached Columbia Drive and South Washington, he lost control and crashed his car right in front of the officer.
However he was able to jump out and flee on foot, and now officers are searching for him. They're calling it a "Missed Connection" but Monzon is wanted in part because he doesn't have a valid driver's license--which is why the Deputy was pulling him over when he spotted his car. He's also got several outstanding arrest warrants.
