Notorious Suspect Nabbed by Richland Cops, Wanted “Everywhere”
Kennewick Police sent out a thank you and shout-out to Richland Police Friday, following the apprehension of a wanted suspect.
Man sought on over a dozen charges, mostly felonies
Wednesday, members of the Richland Police SCU, or Street Crimes Unit, were doing extra patrols and surveillance in the 1600 block of Jadwin. They were trying to ID and locate Michael Bostic, who was wanted on multiple felonies in Richland and Kennewick.
Finally, they spotted Bostic riding an electric bicycle, and according to Police (Richland) there was probable cause that it didn't belong to him.
After Officers contacted him, the suspect fled into a nearby apartment complex
Bostic apparently crashed the bike into a dumpster while fleeing, then went into his apartment. Due to the nature of his crimes and previous history, additional backup, including the Tri-City Regional SWAT Team, was called in.
Contact with him was established with a phone, and eventually, Bostic surrendered without incident. According to Richland PD, here's the list of charges he's facing:
