Maintenance Mechanic (Prosser, WA) - We have openings! Milne is looking for a few experienced and motivated Maintenance Mechanics in Prosser, WA to repair, maintain and troubleshoot industrial food processing machinery. Skills in boilers, refrigeration, electrical and controls, or PLC's are great but not required. What we are really looking for are mechanics with mechanical aptitude, the skills to troubleshoot problems, a positive attitude and the desire to expand their current skill set.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate: • strong work ethic • team player and pride in quality work • safety orientation • leadership potential
Minimum qualifications: • High school diploma or GED. • Additional training either through school or hands-on experience. • Demonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations. • Knowledge of skilled mechanical concepts and basic skills with electrical circuitry, mechanical, analytical, refrigeration, plumbing or welding tasks. • Good math, language, reading and communication skills • Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, stairs and work at multiple heights on a regular basis. • Valid driver’s license and driving record. • Ability to work rotating shifts and required overtime.
