Officials Expand Search For Still Missing Oregon Girl
Because the Warm Springs area is part of an Indian Reservation, the FBI is also involved.
KEPR-TV reports authorities are still searching for an 11-year-old girl who went missing, and is believed to be with her 44-year-old father.
She is considered possibly endangered. The girl, who was from Portland, and home schooled, went missing, and her father's truck was found abandoned on the Warm Springs unincorporated reservation area, roughly 60 miles south of the The Dalles. The truck was found in late February.
The girl, Kaitlyn Stofiel, is believed to be with Thomas Clarence Stofiel, her custodial father. Reports indicate he may be mentally distraught, and could possess a variety of weapons.
She and Thomas Stofiel are the subject of an FBI manhunt and wanted poster.
