Officials have released the identity of the 22-year-old man struck by not only a semi while crossing Columbia Drive but also a car.

Around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night, Kelly Estep was crossing the busy roadway at the intersection with North Jean Street. It's about two blocks from where Highway 395 merges with Columbia Drive.

Estep was struck by a semi and then a passenger car.

Authorities did not say if he was traveling north or south across the road.

Family has been notified, and per standard procedure, a toxicology test will be run to determine if drugs or alcohol were involved. It doesn't mean officials think he was high or drunk, but it's usually done in fatalities like this. More information expected soon.
