Op-Ed: Anti-Trump,Tarriff Protests Dredged from Dem Playbook-Again
We saw these protests following the death of George Floyd, and now we are seeing the dusting off of the Democrat, woke, progressive playbook again. The most recent are the 'Hands off' protests, pushing back against Trump and Elon Musk and DOGE.
Most of the recent anti-Trump and tarriff protests are not grassroots
You may not know there is an entire industry devoted to paid protestors. We saw it as far back as the Antifa riots in Portland in 2019, when they attacked video journalist Andy Ngo, who later won a settlement against him for his injuries.
Over the last few years, groups or businesses such as Crowds on Demand actually supply pair protestors for a wide variety of causes, a person can actually make a small living by being a paid protestor. They recently did a story about Activism for Hire.
Ngo has done a new YouTube video laying out the number of what he refers to as domestic terrorist attacks on Teslas, dealerships and other affiliate properties. He said these attacks go well beyond 'just' the spray-painting or keying of Tesla vehicle, but are firebombings and other terrorist acts. And, they're supported or encouraged by outside financial backers.

Who is behind or helping to coordinate these protests and attacks? It reminds us of the George Floyd protests, except now, suddenly, we are seeing hundreds of "hands off" protests against Trump, Musk, DOGE, and the Federal cutbacks.
Ben Shapiro of the Daily Caller shared a video on March 5th where House Speaker Mike Johnson says globalist George Soros is funding protestors to agitate and disrupt.
Soros is a Hungarian-born venture investor and hedge fund manager who has invested hundreds of millions of dollars into attempting to influence not just U.S. but world politics. His Open Society Foundation has recently contributed $8 million to a group called Indivisible, who has has targeted political leaders on both sides of the aisle in D.C. Indivisible's founder Ezra Levin admitted on the CNN Rachal Maddow show his group has been supporting and pushing the 'hands-off' riots and rallies.
He spent millions trying to defeat George Bush 20 years ago, not long ago he spent millions pushing uber-left Prosecuting or District Attorneys, including the one recently recalled in San Franciso. In 2020 alone, he spent $708 million toward supporting disruptive political groups in the US.
He is a globalist who on several occasions has said the United States is an obstacle to his vision of globalism, he stands against the national independence of countries.
Numerous independent journalists, the same ones who figured out the concerted efforts made during the George Floyd riots, have pinpointed how these rallies are organized and paid for--with offsite money.
So, when you see these allegedly impromptu events springing up at numerous locations around the country, it's anything but grassroots. It's the work of organized behind-the-scenes agitators who are fueled financially by those who seek political disruption or certain goals. And for the last decade at least, the biggest contributor appears go be Soros.
