Oregon Man Ignores Washington State Patrol Advice on Road Conditions
Trooper Chris Thorson said to slow down on the icy roads, but a man from Hermiston, Ore. Must not have heard him.
Washington State Patrol
Horacio Flores-Salas, a 23-year-old Hermiston, Ore. Man, was hurt when his gray 2000 Suzuki Vitara went off of I-82 about five miles east of Kennewick Wednesday morning, said the state patrol.
He was thrown from the rolling vehicle because he apparently was not wearing his seatbelt.
Flores-Salas was taken to Trios Southridge Hospital.
The WSP said the cause of the crash was Flores-Salas driving too fast for road conditions. They have not decided on whether he will get a ticket or not.
