Oregon Suspect Forgets How Plates Got Switched, Drugs in Car…
Selective amnesia is never going to work on a police officer.
Stanfield Police report Andrew Kaufman was pulled over for a driving violation this week, but upon being pulled over, he suddenly developed loss of memory.
Police said he couldn't explain or remember the name of the relative he claimed owned the car he was driving, nor could he remember how the plates and tags got switched. Same for the small golf putter bag in the back that contained drugs.
So now, Mr. Kaufman will stay in the Umatilla County jail, so he won't forget his upcoming court hearing, or the two previous sessions he missed---probably because he "forgot." Whoops. Oh..and he forgot about his two outstanding warrants as well.
