The first Total Eclipse of the Sun in almost 100 years happens August 21, 2017. Parts of Oregon will see the sun totally blocked and feel the temperature drop! Oregon State Parks is opening 1,000 additional camp sites for the big event. You can't reserve one until Wednedsay, April 19th and you can bet they will go fast! Since August 21st is a Monday, you might want to stay in the Tri-City area where we will enjoy a 60% to 80% eclipse.
