Othello Man Arrested in Pasco Stabbing Outside Mission
A 31-year-old Othello man is in the Franklin County jail, on allegations he repeatedly stabbed a 52-year-old man with a pocketknife Monday evening.
Around 5:12PM officers were called to the Thunderbird Motel, where the victim was located, he'd already been receiving first aid from several persons there. The suspect, identified as Tomas Arroyo-Antonio, allegedly stabbed the man numerous times in the torso, leg and shoulder with a pocketknife, but the wounds were not life threatening.
The alleged attack too place outside the Pasco Union Gospel Mission at 221 North 4th Ave.. Police did not say what led to the incident, but Antonio was located and arrested. He was wearing a cast on his arm and hospital ID bracelet. The knife was found in a nearby fenced off compound after witnesses who saw him throw it there notified police.
The investigation continues.
