Pasco Driver Fleeing Police Slams Animal Control Truck, Triggers Lockdown
Tuesday afternoon was wild in Pasco, in more ways than one.
Shortly after 1pm, Pasco police noticed two men in a black Acura, who were driving erratically. Pasco officers gave chase, and the suspects tried to flee.
In the process of trying to outrun police, the Acura hit a Franklin County Animal Control truck. Fortunately, no animals were in the truck, and the driver did not sustain injuries.
However the suspects fled the scene of the crash near 18th and Irving, but were located and arrested by police. Their car had to be towed from the scene, they're now both in the Franklin County jail.
Because they fled on foot, several schools in the area were locked down as a precaution.
