A 32-year-old Pasco man will spend just over ten years in Federal prison for drugs.

Man was arrested in 2022

Leonardo Daniel Martinez was arrested on May 20th, 2022, following Richland domestic violence call.

Richland Police responded to the call at a home, and told Martinez to leave the location. He refused and attempted to assault an Officer. During the altercation and subsequent pat down, Police found a 9mm pistol. Being a convicted felon, he was not allowed to have it.  He has a previous DV conviction.

Inside his BMW Police found an additional firearm, 10,179 Fentanyl pills, over $72K in cash, and a small amount of meth, a digital scale and 3 cellphones.

A US District Court Judge gave  him 125 months in prison, and 5 years of supervised release following his prison term.
