Pasco Man Gets 9th DUI, Blew Double the Limit, Pleads Not Guilty

A man named Hector Orozco is charged with his 9th DUI after allegedly  telling the officer he had "plenty" of alcohol during a traffic stop on January 25th in Pasco.

Orozco is very familiar with the court system after being charged 9 times now for DUI. He was one of the first people charged with Felony DUI after the state changed the laws to be tougher on repeat offenders in 2007, according to reports.

Orozco admitted to arresting officer Travis Park that he had "six pack or more" and blew over double the legal limit at 0.164 on his last offense. He also was driving with no insurance, no license, and with expired tabs taken from another vehicle. There were empty beer cans in the car and no ignition interlock device installed in the car.

Hector Orozco has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him: felony DUI, and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

He is awaiting trial in Franklin County Jail on $10,000 bond and could get as much as 10 years in jail for the felony DUI charge.
