Pasco Police & Fire Raise Money For Cancer- Pink Patch Project
Both the Pasco Police Department and the Pasco Fire Departments are raising money for the Tri-Cities Cancer Center and Kadlec Oncology Department with the Pink Patch Project. Here's how it works
PINK PATCHES ARE BACK! We are releasing our 2019 Pink Patch Project patch with a gold ribbon supporting pediatric cancer and pink ribbon supporting breast cancer. Also, the Pasco Firefighters Union is joining us this year, as the first Fire group in Washington State. Officers will be wearing the original Pink Ribbon patch throughout the month of October supporting breast cancer research.
We want to THANK our community for supporting our fundraising over the past two years. So far we have donated over $2,500 to the Tri-Cities Cancer Center and Kadlec Pediatric Oncology to support treatment, research and prevention. The Pink Patch Project started in the LA Basin and has now grown to over 400 public safety organizations across the globe and 10 in Washington State!
The patches are available online at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PascoOfcAssoc and we will be selling them at various locations throughout the month, just keep watching to see where!
