Pasco Police have released body cam footage of the fatal shootout between officers and two homicide suspects that occurred on May 17 near 12th and Nixon.  Two suspects, identified as Juan and Miguel Montalvo, were allegedly involved in a fatal shooting April 29th.

The two suspects, earlier in the day May 17, had gone to the same home where the April 29th incident occurred, and shot two occupants, seriously wounding them. Then they carjacked a vehicle, locking the driver in the trunk. He was able to escape using the emergency internal release, and called police.

As officers surrounded the home, the suspects fled out the back, What ensued was a shootout between Police and the suspects, one suspect killed the other wounded. The body camera footage is part of the SIU (Special Investigations Unit) examination of the incident, which is still being gone over.

The video does contain some profanity, and disturbing images for others. It's a shocking look at what officers sometimes experience when trying to subdue dangerous armed suspects.

After a lead in explaining what happened, the body camera footage starts shortly after the 5:00 minute mark.
