Pasco Developer’s Wish List Is To Bring Trader Joe’s to the Tri-Cities
Trader Joe's Is Still On The Wishlist Of One Pasco Developer
Costco for Pasco might've been premature but one Pasco Developer is hoping that Trader Joe's will look at an expansion of Broadmoor Blvd. as a possible tenant in the new development.
Could Trader Joe's In Pasco Become A Reality?
In a recent article from the Tri-City Herald, the developers of the expansion of Broadmoor Boulevard that hinted at a possible new Costco seem to be now looking at Trader Joe's as a huge anchor store that could draw customers to the new development.
We also had reported that the Pasco developers had hoped to woo Costco to a new Pasco location and you can read that article here. The addition of 1300 apartments and homes in the area will create a destination place for the Tri-Cities along Broadmoor Boulevard.
In the Tri-Cities Herald article, the developers were quoted as such:
He did say that the previous discussion of a possible Costco was premature and that the retailer has not signed a contract. And while nothing is set in stone yet, Ufkes said there is a very good chance that a Trader Joe’s could find a home in the development. “I know discussions are taking place between the large retail developer and Trader Joe's,” Ufkes said. “I don’t know why Trader Joe's wouldn’t come, they’ve already indicated they have an interest.”
Right now, Costco isn't off the table yet for Pasco but Trader Joe's is a strong possibility for the new Pasco development and that's got Tri-Citians excited.
Tri-Cities Has Always Wanted A Trader Joe's
Trader Joe's is the #1 merchant that Tri-Citians would love to have in the Tri-Cities so that dream of Trader Joe's isn't dead yet.
I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Trader Joe's in the next five years in the Tri-Cities and that'll be a good thing.
