According to scanner traffic and other sources, a small plane crashed into the Columbia River around 2:35 PM Wednesday afternoon.

  The Plane Reported Clipped Power Lines As Well

According to some reports from Walla Walla Scanner Traffic by Kevin on Facebook and other scanners, then KVEW 42 ABC TV, the small plane clipped power lines as it went down into the water.

The power lines are believed to have triggered a fire near Walter's Field in Pasco, the baseball area.  The plane was believed to be upside down, scanner traffic says one person in the the water their condition unknown, and safety crews are attempting to flip the plane over.

     Report Says At Least 1 Injured

 KVEW 42 ABC reporting the plane hit the power lines, causing an outage in Kennewick, the situation continues to develop. More updates expected.
