Police Looking For Suspects Who Left Explosive Devices Near Middle School
No one was threatened, and a lockdown earlier in the day was lifted.
Richland police report they have safely detonated one of two explosive devices that were found near the baseball field at Chief Jo Middle School in Richland Wednesday.
Earlier this morning a witness found two of the devices, but one had already apparently been detonated. The second device was retrieved safely and detonated by the Richland Bomb Squad.
Officials did not offer any specific details as to the size or power of the devices, but report no one was threatened or injured, according to KNDU-TV.
The investigation continues.
