Richland Middle School Student Arrested After School Threat

Shortly before 2pm Tuesday, Richland police responded to Carmichael Middle School in Richland, on a report of an alleged threat made against the school by a student. The school is located on Thayer Drive, just on the south side of Fran Rish Stadium.

Police say the student is in custody and no weapon was found. The student had reportedly threatened teachers and other students with a weapon.

They say NO weapon was found, and no threat to anyone at the school. More information expected to be released later.
