
Richland Police Arrest Suspect in Apartment Shooting, Stolen Car Case
March 22nd Richland Police were called to an apartment complex on Jadwin Ave. about a shooting.
Deputies find car associated with the shooting in Kennewick orchard
Around 5:35 PM Richland Police responded to multiple reports of gunfire at the Columbia Park Apartments at 1644 Jadwin Ave.
Witnesses said they saw an adult male fire several shots at a white Dodge Challenger as it raced out of the parking lot. The shooter and another man, both believed to be armed, reportedly entered one of the units.

However, Police did not locate the shooter during their investigation. Later that evening, the rightful owner of the Dodge notified Police their car had been stolen.
March 23rd. Benton County Deputies found the Dodge abandoned in an orchard in south Kennewick. Neighbors had called in a suspicious vehicle. They said the vehicle was believed to be linked to the Richland incident.
Richland Police make an arrest
Tuesday March 25th, around 1:30 PM, the Kennewick Police Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) and Richland Street Crimes Detectives located and arrested the suspected parking lot shooter. Police say this is still an active investigation.
