He may have acted in and directed some of the greatest movies of all time --'The Natural' is one of our faves -- but Robert Redford is not only biting the hand that feeds him, he's using steak sauce.

The wildly leftist actor and filmmaker has denounced the 'one percent' (those evil rich folks) as not being welcome at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. The 34th edition of what was once a pure, indie (independent) film festival that not only helped launch many careers but also showcased some of the finest new directors, producers, and more  is more corporatized than many Hollywood celebrations. Despite Redford's insistence that the festival is for the 99 percent because of the stories told in its movies, corporate dollars are flowing in every venue. From Starbucks, to Grey Goose vodka, Accura, T-Mobile and many others, millions of corporate dollars are what has kept the festival alive. In one of the most ironic statements ever, one of the strategic planners of the festival, Gene Grabowski, said if Sundance were to revert to it's indie roots, it would become "irrelevant" because it could not attract the star power it does today. Dozens of Hollywood elites swarmed the festival, snatching up the perks and goodies worth thousands, if not tens of thousands, of dollars.

Seems Redford and his producers are enjoying the corporate dollars keeping them afloat; hopefully just a matter of time before the corporate types realize how foolish Redford is trying to make them look. Sounds an awful lot like the guy Redford voted for in the White House.
