Deputies Able to Pinpoint the Suspect

The ACSO said the assault occurred in the West State Route 26 area, before Kendall was 'dumped' at the hospital.  Deputies identified the suspect as 30-year-old Joseph Andrew Abbott of Connell, who was considered dangerous.

Tips and information led authorities to an area near West SR 260 and SR 17 in northern Franklin County, where they, along with WSP and Franklin County Deputies, located Abbott and he was arrested. He's facing, for now, 1st Degree Assault Charges.

The investigation continues, authorities have not yet said what led up to the altercation.
