According to MyNorthwest.com   Seattle and Portland, along with New York, are suing the Federal government over President Trump and the FBI's designation of those cities as being "anarchist jurisdictions."

They claim the Trump Administration doesn't have the authority to do that; they also claim the US Attorney General's designation was “made an in arbitrary and capricious manner based on a set of vague and subjective factors.”

We're not sure what is vague or subjective about CHOP or 180 something straight days of rioting in Portland; as well as lack of enforcement by Police and law enforcement who have been handicapped in how they can deal with situations.

Plus Seattle defunding the Police Department with possibly 100 or more offices leaving was another factor.

Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes also attempted to blame the Federal governments' "bungled COVID response" among other factors.
