Semi-Truck Plows into Train – Train Wins Duel [Photos]

I'm not sure how this accident happened in Franklin County because it's still under investigation but looks like a semi-truck smashed straight into a train near Eltopia.

The accident occurred near Eltopia West at the railroad crossing near US 395 according to a post on the Franklin County Sheriff's Department Facebook page.

The accident caused the closure as a semi-truck collided with a train. The accident happened around 1 pm on Wednesday afternoon.

Luckily, the driver was able to get out of the cab before the collision. Eltopia West road was closed for a few hours while they cleared the mess.
