Sheriff’s, Cops, Use Spike Strips And Roadblocks to Catch Suspect
Early Wednesday morning, Pasco Police and Franklin County Sheriff's combined to derail a fleeing suspect, who'd led them on a chase over the Cable Bridge.
Around 2:15am, Kennewick police were chasing Ricky Ray Martinez, who headed into Pasco. Pasco police and Franklin County Sheriff's were able to lay down some spike strips as Pasco notified them where the suspect was heading.
The spikes worked, Martinez's car was disabled (to say the least) and he was apprehended. He's now facing charges for Meth, Felony Eluding, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and charges in Benton County as well.
