Snow Helps Police Track Domestic Violence Suspects

Two men, from Pullman and Boise, Idaho, are in the Benton County jail after a Christmas Eve assault ended with them being tracked in the snow and arrested.

Richland police say 21-year-old Jacob Bauman and 21-year-old Benjamin Matheny were arrested after  the assault occurred on Copperleaf Street.

Police say Bauman allegedly assaulted a couple of adult relatives, while Matheny is accused of rendering assistance.

Richland police say the new snowfall made it that much easier to track them down.

They were arrested for multiple charges.
