Son Assaults, Threatens Family and Cops with Hunting Bow
Out of respect for the family, (for now) police have withheld his name (the suspect). But his behavior could have hurt family, police, or worse. Suspect does have a previous public arrest record.
Sunday evening, officers responded to a home in West Pasco for a report of a young adult son threatening mother and brother. She met police at the door, and inside the other brother was trying to keep the suspect away from a compound hunting bow and three arrows.
The suspect allegedly threatened to kill officers with the bow, had punched his mother and brother, and threatened to kill mother while she slept. Police were able to subdue him without using a Tazer. Officers found a bottle of prescription medication with a torn off label, and he appeared to be highly intoxicated. Officers were able to get him out of the home safely, and he's now in the Franklin County jail facing a multitude of charges.
