There is still time to voice your opinion on this, as the vote is coming tomorrow.

The Washington State Senate Ways and Means Committee is going to vote whether to move SB (Senate Bill) 5096 out of committee and send to the Senate for debate and potential vote.

State House Rep Jim Walsh (Aberdeen) reminds citizens a state income tax is unconstitutional, and has this to say about it on his Facebook page:

"The WA State Constitution says plainly that tax rates must be flat on all classes of things or activities. WA can't tax some people's income at a higher rate than it taxes other people's income.
In other words, the state can't tax "just the rich.""
