According to PR Newswire -- a company that compiles and shares data -- Americans reportedly trust the judges they watch on TV court shows more than the Supreme Court!

Over 1,000 people from across the country were polled by Readers' Digest. Americans tended to trust their personal physicians 77 percent of the time,  preachers or spiritual leaders 71 percent of the time, and their children's teachers 66 percent of the time.

ABC's "Good Morning America" host Robin Roberts was voted the most-trusted person on television. Actor Tom Hanks was chosen as one of the most-trusted actors.

Clint Eastwood scored highly on the trust-meter with 56 percent approval, as did Michelle Obama! PR Newswire says if Americans perceive you as sincere, you'll probably be trusted. That was NOT the case for Lance Armstrong or Kim Kardashian, who both had a trust scores of 11 percent and 8 percent respectively.

Some of the most-surprising results, however, were for the 9 Supreme Court judges.

Judge Judy had a 51 percent approval rating and Judge Joe Brown had 48 percent. Both scores are higher than all nine justices.
