SUSPECT IN FRANKLIN COUNTY JAIL ON MULTIPLE CHARGES
Tuesday evening in North Franklin County, Deputies say they were called by a male victim (9-1-1) who indicated he'd been threatened after an altercation with another man.
The victim and suspect's ID's have not been publicly released, but the victim said at the end of the argument, the suspect fired a shot at his vehicle.
Upon arrival, Deputies found an entry point near the rear of the car, and the slug had embedded itself between the tire and wheel. You can see the slug, silver, in between the wheel and tire.
Enough information was obtained to establish that probable cause to arrest the suspect.
SUSPECT ACTUALLY AGREED TO MEET WITH DEPUTIES
Franklin County officials didn't say who contacted whom, but the suspect agreed to meet with Officers near the incident area and "discuss" what happened.
Due to the seriousness of the incident, Deputies executed a high-risk stop (basically overwhelming the perp) and he was arrested without incident.
No word as to what led to the dispute or what it was about.
