Two weeks ago, PAE President Scott Wilson shocked many by saying parents who are pushing for a return to in person learning are an example of "white privilege," and dismissed parent's concerns that not having regular school-activities is hurting their mental health.

The student's name was released, and a release sent out by the Richland School District.

Several parents reported to us receiving the email from RSD, and we obtained a copy of it as well. A call to Principal Tim Praino confirmed this report.

However, according to sources not ALL the teachers were represented in the survey.

Pasco sees a jump of 251 students transfer, or home school, over 2019-2020 year.

Both Richland and Kennewick are down noticeably over 2019-2020, however, those figures are tabulated initially at the beginning of the school year. They are tracked and updated periodically, but no specific numbers are known for students who have 'left' for other educational programs.
