With all votes counted, the Kennewick School District Bond proposal has passed. According to the latest update from the Benton County Auditor's office, 1pm Thursday, a total of 16,967 ballots were cast out of 50,301 registered voters...

It was a close election for the Pasco School District and their current bond narrowly passes to give much needed relief to the school district.

Most of the time, ballot measures that start slow, or appear to be sliding to defeat, don't rebound.  For example, The Link project in Kennewick started off well behind and election officials say it's not likely it will come back, despite nearly 10,000 votes still to be counted as of Wednesday.
