Take the Kids to the Warbird Fly-In Saturday — I Am!

If you listen to me on air you know that I'm a huge fan of the History Channel and what used to be the Military Channel (now the American Heroes Channel). That's why I live the Warbirds Fly-In! You can climb up into a B-17 bomber, a B-24 bomber and a P-51 Mustang.

It's THIS SATURDAY, June 13, at Bergstrom Aircraft (behind and to the east of the airport). The Warbird Fly-In begins at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast benefitting Bikes for Books (a reading program). Tours of the planes begin at 10 a.m. The Bomber Boogie starts at 5 p.m.

Tickets are between $10 and $12 depending on the activity and less for kids. Veterans get in free.

This is seriously a good time. I go every year I can and always bring the kids.
